This 1970s spot for La Grande Bug - the limited edition, fancy version of the VW Beetle features the Hungarian hottie, Zsa Zsa Gabor, and her mother extolling the car's many luxe virtues. Who knew corduroy was so upscale? Fancy! I had no idea they had a "Grande" version of this car... wonder what it would go for on ebay?

Before they were stars, these famous faces still had to make a living. Many, many celebrities cut their teeth in television's commercial wasteland. Enjoy these commercials from the last 50 years or so in all their glory. Browse commercials by celebrity by the list on the right.
Evidently the Monkees had a little time to monkey around with Mr. Kool-aid AND Bugs Bunny in this 1960s spot for the flavorful drink. You'd think they could have written a little catchier song, dontcha? I miss Mr. Kool-aid....
Paris, oh Paris... where are your parents? This Spicy BBQ Burger commercial for Carl's Jr. features the "hot" Paris Hilton doing her best stripper in a car wash impression while taking ONE bite of the giant burger. I suppose sex sells, eh?
Florence Henderson passes along the incredible news of the new plastic Wesson Oil bottle in this 1984 commercial. It's "lighter" just like the oil... what a coincidence. I love the girl who drops the bottle... great actin!
Little Elijah Wood's dad is evidently quite clumsy in the kitchen. He hasn't been able to master the delicate food surgery that is grilling burgers. Therefore, the family (and the dog) must eat the Pizza Hut in this 90s advertisement. Well, not actually the hut, but the pizza.
Seems Matt LeBlanc really is a dork... he seems to think ketchup will woo the ladies in this Heinz commercial from the 80s(?) I just want to know how he got the ketchup to fall 5 stories into a perfectly straight line on his hot dog. Plus, why was he on the roof with a bottle of ketchup in the first place?
Seth Green hasn't changed a bit. He's looked exactly the same for the last 15 years or so. This early 90s commercial for Nerf guns is way rad and totally awesome - "NOT!" Psyche, it really rocks. Watch out peoples... I'm on a roll!
Paul Rudd is SERIOUS about his game-playing in this early 90s spot for Super Nintendo. Sorry it's in French, but I'm pretty sure you can follow the storyline...Something tells me, if he was still this "cool" he would have been the 40-year-old virgin instead of in the 40-year-old virgin.
Chevy Chase pokes a little fun at himself in this 1994 Doritos Tortilla Thins commercial. He gets cancelled from his own commercial right after his infamously bad talk show got the axe. At least he has a sense of humor about it all. The old lady swinging by to swipe the chips is a little odd... but hey, it's showbiz.
This 1950s commercial for Union Oil featuring Marilyn Monroe is a little strange to say the least. Marily has named her first car Cynthia and is going to treat her better than any car has ever been treated. Hence the triton in the tummy comment. Evidently this ad was banned for some reason or another... leave a comment if you know the details about it.
Nicolette Sheridan shows off her legs for days in this No Nonsense Pantyhose commercials from the 80s. I love the hair and dress... so 80s. I think I had a dress like that, however, I didn't quite look like that, even with No-Nonsense! Either way, Nicolettes still has legs to die for 20+ years later. Bitch.
Not sure of the exact year - but this William Lawson's Scotch Whisky commercial from the UK featuring Sharon Stone and some seriously hot kilted man is pretty clever. Who woulda thunk that crazy Sharon Stone has a sense of humor about herself? I wouldn't mind sneaking a peek under that kilt myself.
Heather Graham and Benecio del Toro shared a Calvin Klein Obsession directed by David Lynch prior to their respective famousness. These two make a believable couple - although you can tell that Heather hadn't had her on-screen sexual awakening a la Boogie Nights yet... she's not quite as overtly sexy as we all know she can be. I guess they're both just lucky director David Lynch didn't have them doing something seriously twisted in this spot. Lucky indeed.
I forgot how hot and mischevious looking a young Brad Pitt was in the early days of his career. Back in his Thelma & Louise days (1991) he made this hot ad for Levi's. Sexy is one way to put it. Although I don't know a woman in her right mind that would hand Brad a pair of pants to put on if he wasn't wearing any. Crazy lady!
The marketing department over at Canada Dry was obviously experimenting with a few of the trippier treats that were available at the time to produce this 2 and a half minute spot featuring Ann-Margret. She dances around in a variety of odd and mod outfits singing a song about being an expert about soft drinks. Kinda random... very 60s... very faboo, baby.
